And A Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. What does 2016 have in store for us. Well in the cigar world, the Cuban Embargo is on everyone's mind, a new US President could really accelerate or slow down the ground work Mr Obama has done. The steps taken are fairly cosmetic still, but a clear desire and path seems to be there for the next President to do as they wish and potentially go down in history. I don't believe Mr Obama has enough time to get anything concrete done with less than a year to go. The issue is highly complex and in our view will take several years to negotiate but it does look like our American friends could be seeing Cuban cigars washing to their shores in at least the medium term.
