Arturo Fuente was established in 1912. These are Non-Cuban Cigars. Although its world wide reputations today, the brand iteself started as a small family business. After 100 years passed, the Fuente family still owns the company and carries on maintaining its high qualities.
The Arturo Fuente - Numero 4 Sungrown cigar is made with the highest quality tobacco leaves, grown in the Dominican Republic and Ecuador. Fuente makes a bazillion different cigars & I have smoked several of them over the past 30 years. I never have heard of the Numero 4, but it is outstanding, not just among Fuente varieties, but among all cigars I have had. Beautiful wrapper, perfect burn, mild smooth flavors, nice & cool. Maybe they dont want to sell it in the US because it is so good their other lines would sell less(haha). I am very impressed, now I have a cigar that rivals any of the Cubans I love.
