The fastest man in the world

9.77 seconds to run 100 meters. This is what Asafa Powell (Jam) did last night in Athens to set a new World Record. The scary thing is that most athletics experts say that Powell has not yet reached his full potential. I guess it won't be long before we see someone run under the 9.7 second mark. This super human achievement gives me hope as I will be playing in my annual football tournament this weekend. I am also hoping to achieve the 9.7 mark........that is staying on the field for 9 minutes and 7 seconds without collapsing. Courage to the athletes !
